Where the numbers come from.

These are studies about other businesses. They are context, not a promise about your results. Every claim on the site is shown with its limits, and this page keeps the full list.

In one large study, an AI assistant helped support teams resolve more customer issues per hour. Newer team members benefited the most.

In a study of 5,179 customer support agents at a large software company, access to a generative AI assistant increased the number of issues resolved per hour by about 14% on average. The biggest gains were for newer and lower-experience agents.

This study was conducted at one company using a 2023-era tool. Results depend on the business and the work involved.

Brynjolfsson, Li & Raymond — NBER Working Paper 31161 (2023)

AI helps most with the tasks it's suited for. We'll show you which tasks those are for your business before we build anything.

In a randomized experiment with 758 consultants, people who used an AI tool on tasks it was suited for completed 12.2% more tasks and finished 25.1% faster, with results rated higher in quality. On tasks outside the tool's capabilities, AI users were less likely to get the right answer.

We use this study to be honest about limits: AI is good at some tasks and not at others, and we measure which is which before we build.

Dell'Acqua et al. — Navigating the Jagged Technological Frontier, Harvard Business School Working Paper 24-013 (2023)

In one clinic study, missed visits dropped from 38% to 24% when patients got a text reminder.

In a randomized trial at a pediatric clinic, patients who received a text reminder missed their appointments at a rate of 23.5%, compared with 38.1% for patients who did not receive one.

This study was conducted at a pediatric clinic. Results will vary by business type.

We do not quote a study we have not read. When a finding is narrow — one country, one clinic, one survey — the card says so. If a link stops resolving, tell us and we will replace the source or remove the claim.
